Dear Forever 21

Thanks so much for changing the cut on my second favorite jeans and cheaping out on the make of my favorite favorite jeans because now I have ONE pair of jeans and nowhere to buy new ones. Thanks for that.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to find good jeans? I’m going to try Torrid later tonight but I haven’t had good luck there.

Help!

OOTD: Couple days ago

I’m failing this blog. Sorry. Been really busy.

Shirt- Target
Jeans- Forever 21+
Cardigan- Forever 21
Flats- Avenue

There really isn’t much to say about this except I really need it to be spring already. Florals and flats make it feel closer, I just need to weather to pick up the slack already.

What the fuck, plus size fashion?

I was going to do a post about plus size lingerie, but thanks to Forever 21+ I don’t have to!

Just wrap your vajayjay up in a bow and you’re good to go.

What the fuck, plus size fashion?

Forever 21+ isn’t immune from the ugly and this? This is… well, I can’t even. It looks like the 90s threw up.

How could you do this to my girl, Denise Bidot???

Better Late than Never OOTD

Sweater- Lauren Conrad for Kohls
Tank- Old Navy
Jeans- Faith 21
Boots- Avenue

Sorry it’s been awhile, guys. I’ve had some family related emergencies and had to take some time to focus on that. If you’re curious you can check out my personal blog.

I went home for a little while and I got this sweater while I was there. It’s very slouchy and long, but also realy pretty. I’m a big fan. I actually enjoy the Lauren Conrad for Kohls line (even though I’ve never watched Laguna Beach or the Hills). I think this is the first thing I’ve ever bought from the line, though. Apologies for the wet hair, by the way. I was in a rush.

Big photo quality news: I brought my mom’s camera back with me to school, but she lost the charger so I had to order a new one. Once that comes my photos should significantly improve. In the meantime I got an app for my phone that improves the quality at least a bit, so you can discern colors and whatnot.

Lust List: The Must-Haves

Urban Decay’s Naked Palette

The holy grail for neutral shadow lovers like myself. Beauty gurus on youtube have been flipping out over this for ages, and now that it comes with a double-ended eyeliner it is apparently all you need for the perfect eye look (sans mascara). It also comes with an Urban Decay primer potion!

Tweed blazer- Torrid

I am in love with this blazer. It’s perfect for class now and my internship later. This is on my must-have list for sure!

LBD- Torrid

This dress is definitely internship appropriate (well, not on this lovely lady… luckily my boobs are much smaller) and with the jacket above or a little cardigan I could definitely get away with wearing this on the hill. It’s also youthful enough that it would work for any dressy occasion.

Brown tote- Mango for J.C. Penney

This is the perfect summer bag for me. The front pocket is great for storing my phone and my metro card and the tan color is very spring/summer appropriate.

Lace raglan- Forever 21+

This lace top with a white cami, a long necklace, skinny jeans and flats? I could definitely see myself rocking that look once the weather gets nicer, for sure.

OPI- Bubble Bath

I wear pastel nail polish approximately never. Until recently, the closest I got was mint green. Recently, for some reason, pale pinks, lilacs and baby blues have been calling my name… This color gets rave reviews on MakeupAlley and the like. It definitely meets Jackie O’s nail polish criteria (I forget the quote but it’s something along the lines that your nails should be the color of ballet slippers and your toes should be bright red?) and doesn’t seem to fall into the crazy sheer trap like many other pale colors.

Well played, Forever 21+

You got to love when a plus size retailer understands their customer. With Spring coming up I’ve been drawn to pretty dresses, but there is one thing at the back of my mind: chub rub. This chafing sensation can range from mild annoyance to “oh my god, oh my god, kill me now” painful. Last year I bought a pair of bike shorts at American Apparel for $22 and they were great. This year however I won’t be spending nearly that much.

Forever 21+ is offering bike shorts for $4.50! $4.50!!!! Not just that, but they also have a couple colors so you can match your dress. I’m especially interested in the nude ones. I will certainly be buying a couple of these!

Even if chub rub isn’t a problem for you, these are great to throw under a dress just for modesty’s sake.

OOTD: Part 2

I didn’t forget you all! I promise!

Shirt- American Eagle
Tank- Old Navy
Jeans- Forever 21+
Boots- Roaman’s
Necklace- Kohls

We ended up getting dessert at The Cheesecake Factory then just sitting around and talking for awhile. I wanted to look cute but not like I was trying incredibly hard. I wore this outfit like three days ago to work and I like how it is flowy and boho but also sheer and sexy. It also has the habit of falling off my shoulder, but it a cute way. I’ve never had a problem with showing cleavage (sometimes my view is the more, the merrier), but I just had to urge to do something a little different tonight.

Here is a better look at the details of the shirt.

And then my makeup/hair right before I left. The braid might have made it a little too hippie, but my bangs were driving me insane.

The nice thing is, I used a face and eye primer and although we met up around 10 he only left a little while ago (4am— and don’t get any funny ideas we were just talking, I’m a lady obviously) and other than looking seriously, seriously tired, my makeup was still pretty perfect. Not to mention- I have a HUGE nasty healing pimple right next to my left eyebrow and and thanks to Maybelline Dream Mousse concealer it is hardly noticeable.
